What happens to the details you send through our enquiry form, in plain English.

Who we are
This website is run by North Lincs Web Design, a trading name of Toucs (toucs.org), based in Worlaby, North Lincolnshire. We are responsible for the personal information described here.
What the enquiry form collects
- Your name and email address (required).
- Your phone number, business name and current website address, if you choose to give them.
- The service you are asking about, and your message.
- The page you sent the form from and the date and time it was sent.
The form also contains a hidden field that people never see, used only to catch automated spam.
Why we collect it
We use your details only to read and reply to your enquiry, and, if you go ahead, to provide the work you asked for. Our legal basis is your request to us (steps taken at your request before entering into a contract) and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries. We do not add you to a mailing list and we do not use your details for marketing.
Where it is stored
Enquiries are stored on our own website platform, which we run ourselves. We do not sell your details, and we do not share them with anyone else, except where the law requires us to.
How long we keep it
Enquiries sent through the form are deleted after 2 years at the latest. You can ask us to delete yours sooner at any time (see below). If you become a customer, we keep the details we need for that work, such as invoices, for as long as we work together and then for as long as we are legally required to keep business records.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. To do any of these, send a message through the enquiry form, choose “Something else”, and tell us what you would like. Use the same name and email address you used before so we can find your enquiry.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
The enquiry form does not need cookies to work. If this site ever uses optional cookies, it will ask you first and nothing optional will be set until you agree.
Changes
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page. Last updated October 2026.
